A Weekend at The Belamar Hotel

Hey hey!

Last weekend I enjoyed a complimentary staycation at The Belamar Hotel and it was everything! It’s so important to take a few days from your busy schedule and relax, so this staycation was exactly what I needed. I know that using airbnb has been the hype lately and people are like, "what is a hotel?" but it's still something about a hotel that I love. The fresh white sheets, super soft bed and the room service, all the things that I love about staying at a hotel. I had the opportunity to stay at any one of the Pacifica hotels in Southern California and I chose The Belamar.

About the Belamar Hotel:

The Belamar is a boutique hotel located in Manhattan Beach, California; 5 minutes away from the beach and the strip. Seriously the perfect location! I loved how the hotel was conveniently located to everything and it was in a little corner of a neighborhood, so there weren’t many people driving by. It was very quiet and not as busy as a huge chain hotel would be. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing place to stay I would definitely recommend The Belamar.

What to Do:

The first thing that made me love the hotel was the vinyl rentals. Each hotel room had a vintage vibe with a vinyl player. You can rent albums from the front desk for free and give yourself an old school music feel, instead of just blasting your iPhone speaker. haha. I thought that was pretty cool and made me want to bring a vinyl player everywhere when I travel.

They also had on-site bike rentals! If you're familiar with the beach vibes then you know a bike rental is a necessity when you're by a beach. It's such a fun thing to do and a quick and easy way to explore the area. It's also a good alternative for a workout! If you want a traditional workout, the Belamar had a gym as well.

What to Eat:

One of my favorite things during this stay was the food. I went to the hotel restaurant during happy hour and it was amazing! I ordered almost the whole happy hour menu and everything was delicious. The food was reasonably priced and the happy hour prices were great. If you're looking for more food places, don't forget you are only 5 minutes away from everything, including more restaurants.

My overall experience with the Belamar hotel was so good. I felt very welcomed as soon as I arrived.  Since it is a smaller hotel, there wasn’t any lines to wait for check in or people everywhere in the lobby. It was very peaceful. The outdoor courtyard center was my favorite place to hang out and relax! They have a ballroom area for events and dining and a indoor pool/jacuzzi. Overall I enjoyed relaxing and spending my weekend at The Belamar and can’t wait to go back. https://www.thebelamar.com/
