DIY Curtain Headboard
/Hey hey!!! Today I have a different kind of post for you guys. It's a home decor post!!!! I always want to get into redecorating my bedroom but I normally opt for looking at Pinterest decorations instead. That's why I am super excited to share with you guys my new headboard/background/wall decorations whatever you want to call it. haha
I have one of those bedrooms where it's just the bed. lol. Nothing more nothing less. So when it comes to decorating it is a little challenging but I managed to decorate the wall a little and it actually made my room feel bigger. My original wall decorations (before the headboard curtain) were in the center of my wall and my bed was off center, so when I put the curtain up it was kind of tricky. I centered the curtain rod just a little with the bed and the wall. It's confusing but it fits. I need to add one more frame on the side of the Marilyn Monroe quote and it'll look a lot better. This quick and easy wall decor/headboard only cost me $45 guys! It doesn't get any better than that.
Okay Yvette we don't care about all that, we want to know where you got the stuff from!
I purchased the lace curtain for $4.99 from Ikea.
Next the white curtain rod was purchased from Target for $15.99.
Last but not least, the Icicle lights were also from Target. I got two different kinds of lights (I'm probably going to exchange one because they don't hang the same), one was $13.99 and the other $10.49.
And there you have it! I put this together with the help of one of my lovely friends and it took us maybe 20 minutes. Super quick and easy decorations! Let me know how you like it and comment below if you want to see more home decor post! =)
