Why is charcoal good for your skin?
Hey hey hey!
It’s Sunday, so that means another Skincare Sunday post. Today’s post is inspired by all of the trends that are going on in skincare. If you haven’t noticed, certain items get really popular and end up on every household product. First coconut oil, then matcha and now charcoal! The 7 Best Peel-Off Charcoal Masks
Charcoal hit the ground running. It’s in soo many skincare mask, I thought I was going to go charcoal crazy. However, I decided to get in on the trend (lol) and see what the hype was all about by using Yes To, Detoxifying Charcoal SnapMASK STICK.
Why I love this mask?
One of my all time favorite things about this mask is the fact that it is a stick! It’s travel friendly and it doesn’t leave a mess behind afterwards. One of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to face mask is how messy they can be, but this one you can put in your travel bag and not have to worry about it spilling anywhere. It’s a genius face mask if you ask me!
What makes this mask so good?
This mask has detoxifying charcoal, salicylic acid and tomatoes which are all good for acne prone skin. What makes the charcoal so amazing is the actual charcoal. Charcoal binds the dirt and helps pull it out of your pores. Making your pores appear smaller and wiping away the oil and dirt. Whenever I see acne starting to surface, I use this mask either in the morning or at night and it works wonders. I like to use it every other day just to make sure my face stays flawless.
This mask is also quick to use. Apply one layer on your face, let it sit for 5 minutes and rinse it off. Super easy to use and it doesn’t dry your face out. After I use this mask I always follow up with my Kreyol Essence Haitian Moringa oil to add the perfect amount of moisture to my face.
