Goals For The Rest Of 2020

Hey hey!

2020. Wow. This year has been very wild. No one ever thought that this year would play out the way it is, but here we are. What’s interesting about this year is how everyone is handling it. I’m seeing a lot of people thanking God quarantine happened to them, because now they have time to work on other projects. I’m also seeing a lot of people hating quarantine, because they’re more anxious than ever. It’s such a divide in responses when you ask someone “how’s quarantine treating you?”

I’m actually one of the people who feels a sense of relief that I’m stuck in the house. I’ve been running on autopilot since last year. Trying to complete all of these goals, have a good social life, make sure I’m feeding into my relationship with my man and with God, and honestly it’s been A LOT! In the beginning of quarantine, I was miserable. I didn’t know how I was going to make money. I didn’t know how I was going to stay happy. I stayed on the couch for 2 weeks in a slumber. It was not good. Then a light bulb went off, after I had to remind myself of how grateful I am to have a roof over my head and get off the couch! As soon as that happened, my whole 2020 turned around. I’m doing things that I’ve talked about for years. Finally having the time to work on so many different projects feels amazing.

One of my main goals this year was to come out with something that I can call my own. I love content creating and connecting with people on social media, but I also want to have something that’s mine and I’m proud of. I’m actually working on something that I’m beyond excited to eventually share with you! I just know y’ou are going to love it. Aside from this secret project, I have some social media and financial goals I wanted to share with you as well.

GOALS:

By the end of the year, I want to have 40k followers on Instagram have 5,000 subscribers on Youtube and my blog site to hit 100,000 page views.

Every year I set a financial goal. The beauty of not working a traditional job, is the potential to make more money every month. It’s scary in the beginning because the income isn’t consistent, but when it becomes consistent, it’s beautiful working for yourself. I had a financial goal that I didn’t think I would hit once quarantine started, but crazy enough June was my MONTH. I double my normal monthly income and I couldn’t believe it. I believe the only way it was possible, was because I had extra time to stay consistent. Don’t let anyone tell you we’re in a pandemic and there is no budget. There is still money to be made in these streets. I’m projecting the last 6 months to financially make more than I made the whole year of 2019. It’s time to level up! Overall I just want to say, I’m very optimistic about the rest of the year and I’m excited to see what else I can achieve by staying in the house.

I’ve shared enough of my goals for the rest of the year, now it’s your turn. How has quarantine been treating you and what’s a goal of yours for the rest of the year?

XO,

Yvette Corinne
