October 2016 Goal Recap

Happy Halloween everybody! I am going to start reflecting my goals at the end of the month so I can stay on track and hopefully inspire anyone out there who is working towards a goal of their own. Goal tracking is very important. If you aren't writing down your goals monthly, I want this to motivate you to have monthly goals and to not think any goal is too big. I didn't accomplish every goal but we are human, so I still want to share it with you guys. Don't get discouraged when you don't reach a goal, it is okay!

My first goal was to double my audience size and blog twice a week. I didn't have time because I was taking on too many projects but I know I can't use that as an excuse. For the month of November, I will work harder even if that means sleepless nights. Even though I didn't reach my October blogging goal I did reach some other goals that I am really excited about.

My second goal was to get a job by November and I did, FINALLY! I was unemployed for entirely too long but let me tell y'all something, being unemployed definitely humbled me. I learned so much in this two month period and I am actually glad that I had to go through this situation to learn about myself and what I want out of life. I can go on forever about that situation but that's a blog post on it's on. Thank God I am employed now and up and running for the Holiday season.

My third goal was to audition at least once a week. Sometimes it's hard to even get auditions but I was fortunate enough to have 4 auditions this month and a callback. The more auditions I get the more comfortable I am. I need the auditioning process to be second nature so the directors won't know I'm nervous lol but I am getting better. Even though I didn't book anything (acting wise) this past month I am excited to know that I am moving in the right direction and I know I will book my first commercial soon.

My fourth goal was to finally get our Youtube channel up and running. One of my very close friends and I started a Youtube channel named "One Plus One". It's a Fashion, Lifestyle, Beauty, DIY, just about everything channel. We are so excited about our first video and we are already working on the next one. So I am very excited about that goal and the idea of picking up another creative outlet. Subscribe to our Youtube channel "One Plus One" to stay updated on when we post videos and all that fun jazz.

My fifth and last goal was to network more and continue to get myself out there. The more you go to events and spread your craft with others, the more you grow. I have met some phenomenal people this month and made more connections than I can imagine. Now I am ready to finish off this last quarter of 2016 strong. What were your goals for October? And did you reach any goals for the month? I would love to hear them in the comments below!
